Matthew Cascio

Matthew Cascio is the lead organizer for CloudConNoVA. Matt is also a community organizer for the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), as lead organizer for CloudNative NoVA, CloudNative DC and KCD DC.

For over 15 years, Matt has led product teams that go-to-market with award-winning customer experiences for the world’s most-recognized brands. Matt values people and relationships first, providing vision, strategy and leadership that drives value at scale. As a thought leader and evangelist, Matt builds trust and leads transformation across complex organizations with a collaborative, outcomes-focused and hands-on style. As an accountable executive, he has demonstrated success commercializing data insights into cloud-native products.

Matt serves as Executive Director, Governance & Strategy at American Red Cross. He previously led product delivery and/or digital transformation at organizations such as Meda Pharmaceuticals, Volkswagen/Audi of America, Graduate Management Admissions Council, Rosetta Stone, and National Wildlife Federation. Matt is also an independent author, speaker and advisor through his personal brand NāOM Lab, which contributes commentaries to publications such as Fortune Magazine, speaks regularly at open-source events with the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and works with clients to advance their digital transformation initiatives based on his experience with three key pillars of success – accountability, observability and agility.
